The College of Veterinary Medicine discusses a master’s thesis on the use of mint and fenugreek and their mixture in reducing heat stress in broiler chickens

A discussion was held at the College of Veterinary Medicine / University of Kerbala in the Public Health Branch, a master’s student, Ghadir Abbas Hassan, on Thursday, 6/8/2023, in the discussion hall in the college. The discussion committee consisted of the following gentlemen:

The study aimed to demonstrate the effect of mint and fenugreek herbs in improving the physiological characteristics and thus reducing the effect of heat stress in broiler chickens of Rose type, as the productive, biochemical and immunological characteristics were measured in addition to the antioxidant properties.The study showed the superiority of the mixture treatment over the rest of the treatments in improving the physical characteristics and mitigating the effect of heat stress on the birds. The thesis got an excellent rating. Congratulations to the student and good luck to all students
