At a meeting of the advanced owners. Minister of Education: We are continuing to develop the admission policy in universities and move towards decentralization


The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, chaired a meeting of the advanced staff to discuss the development of university admission policy and the trend towards decentralization.

During the meeting, he stressed that the ministry is continuing to develop the required path to update the admission policy in accordance with a scientific and procedural vision that guarantees flexible powers for universities in dealing with the admission file and enabling students from academic specializations in colleges and departments.

The meeting reviewed the implementation stations of the Bologna Process in the faculties of engineering and science and the evaluation and follow-up of quality indicators in these disciplines, pointing at the same time to the importance of continuous coordination and cooperation with UNESCO to provide the necessary climate for scientific and academic evaluation.

The meeting discussed the postgraduate studies plan for the academic year 2025/2024, updating curricula, international accreditation for medical colleges, and completing the automation of administrative procedures in the ministry’s departments, stressing that there is no choice but to succeed in 2024, which will be the year of achievements and achieving excellence in the environment of higher education and scientific research.
