For the first time in its history. The Association of Arab Universities holds a meeting of its executive office at the University of Baghdad on the eve of the start of the General Conference of the Union

The Executive Office of the Association of Arab Universities held its first meeting at the University of Baghdad to discuss a number of topics on the agenda in preparation for the launch of the General Conference of the Union in conjunction with the sixtieth anniversary of its founding.

The Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities, Dr. Amr Ezzat Salameh, stressed that Iraq is one of the founding member states of the Association of Universities and that the presence of Arab university presidents to participate in the activities of the General Conference hosted by the capital Baghdad for the first time pushes towards more integration between Arab educational institutions.

In this context, the President of the University of Baghdad, Dr. Bahaa Ibrahim Insaf, welcomed the hosting of the Executive Office of the Union and the work of the General Conference, which will provide a positive atmosphere for cooperation and scientific and academic cooperation between Iraqi universities and their Arab counterparts.
