The College of Veterinary Medicine organizes the first meeting of the Industrial Advisory Council

The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Wefaq Jabouri Al-Bazi, chaired the first meeting of the Industrial Advisory Council, which was held at the Deanship of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala.
The Industrial Advisory Council aims to support and activate the labor market and open horizons for joint cooperation with the public and private sectors in the governorate by building real partnerships between them, which is supported by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The Council seeks to activate its role in all fields, including the societal aspect, and provide all its services to serve the public interest in the governorate.
The meeting agenda included discussing several topics, including the need to activate joint cooperation with government institutions and the private sector in improving the quality of the educational reality for students and graduates, to increase their productive capabilities and learning skills, to supply the labor market with productive youth energies, to provide job opportunities, and to provide support for productive projects in the governorate, in addition to presenting the most important matters. The problems facing young people and the development of solutions and recommendations for them. The school curricula were also addressed and the necessity of updating and developing them to suit the global developments taking place in the field of education as well as keeping pace with the rapid development taking place in the labor market was discussed.
Council members stressed the need to activate the educational role of society in all its categories to introduce the veterinary medicine profession and its importance in society through holding seminars, courses and training workshops and intensifying field visits.
