Veterinary Medicine College Signs Scientific Cooperation Memorandum with Its Counterpart at the University of Sulaimani

As part of the effort to enhance mutual scientific cooperation and exchange experiences to open new horizons that boost and keep pace with the progress and development in the educational journey between counterpart government colleges, the Veterinary Medicine College at the University of Karbala, represented by Professor Dr. Wafaa Jabouri Al-Bazi, Dean of the College, signed a memorandum with its counterpart at the University of Sulaimani, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Nadia Abdul Karim Saleh, in the presence of the members of the Coordinating Committee, to establish a mechanism for mutual scientific cooperation between the two parties.

The mechanism included several axes agreed upon to achieve fruitful cooperation between institutions of higher education and scientific research in various fields related to veterinary medicine.

The agreement followed a series of communications and consultations between the two parties and obtaining formal approvals, through which many topics were discussed to elevate and advance the scientific level of both colleges. This includes exchanging experiences in academic fields, working on the development and review of educational programs and curricula, forming research teams to conduct joint scientific research and publish it within reputable databases, as well as holding joint seminars and workshops, exchanging field visits, and jointly supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Al-Bazi highlighted the readiness of both parties for fruitful mutual cooperation by benefiting from scientific expertise and the exchange of common ideas to advance the reality of the veterinary profession in the country.
