According to the letter of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the university has obtained institutional accreditation.
The book pointed out that “in reference to the approval of His Excellency the respected Minister on the minutes of meeting No. (38) of the Council for Institutional Accreditation and the powers vested in the Council under Ministerial Order (299) on 13/3/2023, it was decided to grant the University of Karbala institutional accreditation.
The ministry stressed “the need for the university to commit to implementing the relevant items stipulated in the policies and procedures of the council.
For his part, the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid, praised the efforts of the Department of Quality Assurance and University Performance, in addition to the contribution of university staff of professors and employees in achieving excellence and their keenness to raise the name and status of the university at the local and international levels.
It is noteworthy that institutional accreditation is granted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to the academic institution that has met the scientific standards set by the Ministry, including that it has effective systems for quality assurance and continuous improvement of its academic activities in accordance with the published controls.
