The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in cooperation with the Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC), organized a seminar on updating the voter register.
The seminar, organized by the Government Information and Communication Department and attended by IHEC representative Ali Abdullah Jaber, aims to promote electoral awareness and emphasize the importance of updating data in the voter registry to ensure the exercise of the constitutional right to vote during electoral elections.
The seminar included a detailed presentation of the procedures adopted in the updating process and the cases that require updating, such as changing the place of residence or correcting personal data.
The seminar concluded with the Independent High Electoral Commission’s mobile team carrying out a field update of the data of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research employees in the context of supporting joint efforts and strengthening institutional cooperation.
