Within the framework of social responsibility and voluntary work, students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University contributed to supporting the medical detachments deployed inside the city and on the axes of visitors by providing field first aid services for emergency cases.
The students demonstrated high readiness and outstanding practical skills in dealing with minor injuries and cases of stress and heat exhaustion, reflecting their level of training and health awareness.
For his part Assistant Professor Dr Mohammed Asaad Al Kaabi Dean of the College, appreciated these efforts, stressing that the participation of students in this major religious occasion embodies the integration between the scientific and applied aspect and reflects the role of the veterinarian in promoting public health and serving the community.
