On its national day, we renew our pledge to Iraq to remain faithful to its mission and to serve it with our knowledge and work because it is a homeland that deserves to be elevated, to rise with it and to preserve its dignity.
He added:
‘National Day is a time to remember the long journey our great people have taken in pursuit of freedom, sovereignty and dignity. It is a call to unite, overcome challenges and work hand in hand for a secure, advanced and unified Iraq.’
He emphasised that the mission of universities is not limited to education but also includes instilling national values and a commitment to serving the country in word and deed, affirming that the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine will remain an active partner in the national journey through science, research and community service.
Dr. Al-Kaabi concluded his speech by saying:
“On National Day we stand with pride before the sacrifices of the martyrs and pioneers and look with hope to future generations capable of building and change. We ask God to preserve Iraq and to perpetuate its blessing of security and sovereignty, and may its flag continue to fly high with pride and knowledge.
