On its first day the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala hosted the plastic arts training course organised by the Student Activities Department at the University Presidency attended by a number of students from the university’s faculties and with the distinguished participation of students from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
The lecture was presented by Assistant Failk Fathi head of the Artistic Activities Division in the Student Activities Department, who discussed the basics of drawing and artistic composition and methods of using colours in aesthetic expression with the aim of developing students’ skills and refining their artistic taste in a university environment that encourages creativity.
The event was held under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi who emphasised in his speech that the arts are an important part of a university student’s personality and contribute to promoting a balance between scientific, cultural and creative aspects.
