In conjunction with World Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi, the Scientific Affairs Unit, in cooperation with the Veterinary Microbiology and Parasitology Branch, organized an awareness campaign to educate students and staff about the dangers of antibiotic overuse and ways to prevent bacterial resistance.
The campaign included the distribution of informational brochures aimed at promoting the optimal use of antibiotics within the veterinary field, in line with global efforts to curb the rise of antimicrobial resistance.
The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine affirmed its continued support for awareness activities that contribute to enhancing health security and serving the community.
