Community Sustainability Begins with Rights… Awareness Workshop at the College of Veterinary Medicine Promotes Human Rights Awareness

The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala in cooperation with the Human Rights Unit and the Student Activities Division/Cultural Unit, organized a workshop entitled “Human Rights Awareness: A Necessity for Building a Safe and Sustainable Society.” This workshop coincided with International Human Rights Day and was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi.

The workshop aimed to raise students’ awareness of the fundamental principles of human rights and their role in supporting community security and promoting social sustainability, as well as instilling the values ​​of tolerance and equality within the university environment.

The workshop included sessions focusing on the importance of responsible behavior, community participation, and respect for human dignity, all of which contribute to building a more aware and stable society.

The event witnessed broad student participation, and the Dean of the College affirmed his support for human rights initiatives that enhance the humanitarian aspect of students alongside their academic pursuits.
