The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala organized an orientation ceremony for its first-year students in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The event coincided with the celebration of the birth anniversaries of Imams Muhammad al-Baqir and Ali al-Hadi (peace be upon them), lending a special spiritual dimension to the occasion.
The ceremony included a speech by the Dean’s Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ihab Ghazi Mahdi, on behalf of the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad al-Kaabi. In his speech, Professor Mahdi welcomed the new students, emphasizing the importance of this stage in building their academic and professional futures and urging them to be committed, diligent, and to take advantage of the available academic opportunities.
This ceremony reflects the College’s commitment to supporting first-year students and creating a positive environment that facilitates their integration into university life and fosters a sense of belonging from the very beginning of their academic journey.
