The College of Veterinary Medicine Council Holds its Fifth Session and Emphasizes Raising Scientific and Research Standards

The College of Veterinary Medicine Council at the University of Karbala held its fifth session, chaired by the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi, to discuss several important academic and administrative matters and to make a number of decisions aimed at developing institutional performance and advancing the educational process.

During the session, the Council emphasized the need to raise the educational level and enhance research to meet the demands of the job market, while supporting and developing teaching staff by involving them in local and international training courses and monitoring researchers and their academic progress.

The Council also discussed organizing administrative and financial authorities to support scientific activities, adopting an updated guide for teaching methodologies courses, and emphasizing quality standards and encouraging scientific research to enhance the outcomes of higher education.

In a related matter, the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi, issued a number of directives, most notably the commitment to official working hours and examination supervision, providing examination committees with final questions, answers, and grades, in addition to strengthening continuous monitoring of students by academic advisors. This session is part of the college’s commitment to promoting academic discipline and developing the educational environment, in line with the university’s vision and strategic directions.
