The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine Participates in a Field Visit to the Karbala Desert Project to Explore Scientific and Training Cooperation

           The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Saleh Al-Kaabi, participated in a field visit to the Karbala Desert Project as part of a delegation from the University of Kerbala, headed by the University President, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali. The visit aimed to review the project’s operations and explore opportunities for scientific, research, and training collaboration between the university and leading production projects in the province.

The field tour included visits to the poultry farming, agricultural production, canning, and specialized laboratories departments. The delegation received a detailed explanation of the project’s operational mechanisms, production processes, and approved operational plans.

Participants emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships between academic institutions and production sectors. This collaboration contributes to utilizing scientific and research expertise to address technical challenges and develop production, as well as providing a suitable environment for conducting applied research and providing field training for students.

The Dean’s participation reflects the College’s commitment to engaging with production projects related to livestock and food industries. This engagement enhances practical training opportunities for students and supports scientific research and community service.
