The College of Veterinary Medicine Participates in an Awareness Campaign to Prevent Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever During the Tenth of Muharram Pilgrimage

      The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala, in cooperation with the Veterinary Hospital, participated in a field awareness campaign to prevent crime-congo hemorrhagic fever and zoonotic diseases as part of the plan for the Tenth of Muharram pilgrimage.

A number of faculty members and students from the college participated in the campaign, which targeted Husseini processions and pilgrim routes, providing health guidelines on meat safety and preservation methods, and raising awareness of preventive measures to reduce the transmission of zoonotic diseases.

The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad Saleh Al-Kaabi, emphasized the importance of promoting health awareness and serving the community through field activities that contribute to protecting public health and supporting awareness efforts during the massive pilgrimages.
