Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi, the Continuing Education Unit organized a training course entitled “The Importance of Understanding the Differences in Bone Surface Structures in Meat Identification.”
The course aimed to develop anatomical knowledge and enable participants to differentiate between types of meat based on bone characteristics. It also aimed to enhance diagnostic skills and detect fraud in animal products, thus contributing to food safety and public health.
The course covered scientific topics including the identification of bone structures, practical applications in meat diagnosis, and a review of modern technologies that support improved diagnostic accuracy.
