Students from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala are continuing their summer training program at the General Veterinary Hospital in the holy city of Karbala and its affiliated veterinary clinics in Al-Husayniyah, Al-Hindiyah, and Al-Hur. This training program aims to enhance practical skills and bridge the gap between academic knowledge and field application.
The program includes student participation in clinical examinations, monitoring patient cases, and learning about diagnostic and treatment methods, as well as vaccination, prevention, and disease control procedures, all under the supervision of veterinary staff.
The training is overseen by the college’s Summer Training Unit and aims to develop students’ professional capabilities and provide them with the necessary field experience. This contributes to preparing qualified veterinary professionals capable of serving the community and promoting the One Health initiative.
