The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala discussed a master’s thesis entitled “A Study of the Morphological and Histological Differences of Regular Moderate Exercise on the Muscles of the Hind Limbs and Bone Density in Domestic Rabbits,” submitted by researcher Ithmar Ali Hussein from the Department of Anatomy and Histology.
The study aimed to evaluate the effect of regular moderate exercise on the muscles of the hind limbs and bone density of domestic rabbits, examining sex-related differences through a range of morphological, histological, biochemical, radiological, and endocrine examinations.
The examining committee consisted of Assistant Professor Dr. Jassim Mohammed Khalaf as chair, and members Professor Dr. Naseer Mirza Hamza, Professor Dr. Ali Hassan Aboud, Professor Dr. Mona Hussein Hassan, and Assistant Professor Dr. Fatih Awda Kadhim, who also served as supervisors.
For his part, the Dean of the College, Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi, commended the scientific efforts exerted in preparing the dissertation, emphasizing the importance of experimental studies in enhancing research output and developing scientific knowledge in the field of anatomy and histology.
