The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala organizes a field activity to support livestock

      Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Saleh Al-Kaabi, the Departments of Internal Medicine and Preventive Veterinary Medicine and Surgery and Obstetrics, in cooperation with the General Veterinary Hospital in the holy city of Karbala, organized a joint field activity at several cattle farms in the Al-Abbas neighborhood using a mobile veterinary clinic.

The activity included providing treatment and preventative services, conducting clinical examinations, administering vaccinations and parasite control, as well as providing health guidance to cattle breeders with the aim of enhancing biosecurity and reducing the spread of diseases.

This activity comes as part of the college’s efforts to support the livestock sector, strengthen cooperation between academic institutions and government veterinary departments, and serve the local community.
