Fourth-year students at the College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Karbala, are continuing their summer training program at veterinary hospitals and clinics in the holy city of Karbala and the province of Maysan. This program, supervised by specialized veterinary staff, is part of the college’s plan to develop students’ practical skills.
The students receive hands-on training that includes clinical examinations, disease diagnosis, and treatment and prevention procedures. They also learn about the operational mechanisms of veterinary institutions, enhancing their field experience and bridging the gap between theory and practice.
The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Saleh Al-Kaabi, emphasized that the program is a cornerstone in preparing students with the scientific and practical competence necessary to serve the veterinary sector effectively and efficiently.
The college administration expressed its appreciation for the cooperation of the veterinary hospitals and clinics in both provinces, acknowledging their role in providing a training environment that contributes to honing students’ skills and preparing them for professional life.
