The College Of Veterinary Medicine Organizes A Scientific Trip For The Fourth Stage Students To Al-Wakeel Stud For Purebred Arabian Horses In Holy Kerbala

Under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Prof. Wafaq Jubouri Al-Bazi Within the framework of the various scientific activities of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, the Internal Medicine Branch organized a scientific trip for the fourth stage students of Al-Wakeel Stud for Purebred Arabian Horses in Karbala on Tuesday, 3/29/2022, accompanied by Dr. Ehab Ghazi Mahdi , Dr. Mohammed Asaad Saleh and Eman Jawad Jaber.
This scientific trip aims to learn about the breeding, production and protection of the purebred type of Arabian horses at Al-Wakeel Stud and the method of preserving and developing this important animal wealth and consolidating its authentic roots. Dr. Muhammad Al-Kaabi explained that the establishment of this stud is to restore the glory of the Arab breeds of the pure-blooded Arabian horses of Iraq. Where Iraq had the most important incubators of pure breeds of Arab horses, but that wealth was clearly neglected for reasons related to neglecting the development and investment aspect of horses in the local and Arabic arena.
