The College of Veterinary Medicine receives Al-Ameed Primary School for Girls in a scientific visit.

In line with the scientific cooperation between the University of Karbala and the rest of the educational institutions, the College of Veterinary Medicine receives the Al-Ameed Elementary School for Girls in Karbala Governorate in a scientific visit to get acquainted with the College system and to see closely the lessons of theoretical and practical approach in the College. This scientific visit is not the first initiative of its kind, since the College receives annually groups of school students to introduce them to the administrative and academic structure of the College.

The students were received and welcomed by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Wefaq Al-Bazi and the scientific assistant, Prof. Dr. Ehab Ghazi Mahdi, heads of branches, professors and students. This scientific cooperation aims to encourage students to extend their perseverance and efforts to obtain the best scientific degrees and urges them to keep pace with the scientific movement.

The scientific visit includes inspecting the laboratories of the scientific branches, electron microscope unit, the classrooms and the Animal Field. The students divided into groups to conduct some scientific experiments in front of them. The students were informed with an important explanation of the significance of scientific laboratories and their importance in preparing the veterinary student. In addition, the deanship of the College presented symbolic gifts for the students.
