Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the Faculty, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad Al-Kaabi, the Continuing Education Unit, in cooperation with the Public Health Branch, organized within the Global Entrepreneurship Week a workshop entitled (Introduction to Cybersecurity), in which Assistant Teacher Ammar Hussein Jawad lectured, and a number of college students participated.
The workshop aimed to introduce participants to the basic concepts in the field of cybersecurity, the importance of protecting information and systems in the digital age, digital threats, ways to prevent them and how to deal with them, and to identify protection strategies by introducing methods and techniques to protect systems and networks, including encryption, firewalls, and identity management.
