As part of the fruitful cooperation between the College of Veterinary Medicine , the Veterinary Hospital and private sector companies the summer training students in the Poultry and Fish Diseases and Diseases Branch organised a field visit to Al Mannen Egg Production Company under the supervision of the distinguished Prof. Dr. Latif Ibrahim Kazim and Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdul Kazim Hussein.
This visit aims to enhance the practical aspect of the students through direct exposure to modern production methods and management of poultry projects, which contributes to raising their scientific and practical efficiency and preparing them for the labour market.
The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine Assistant Professor Dr Mohammed Asad Al-Kaabi stressed the importance of these field activities which translate the college’s policy of linking academic and applied aspects to serve the process of higher education and the development of the livestock sector in our dear country.
