The Dean meets with the head of the Guidance Unit and representatives of the academic stages to promote academic commitment
The Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad Al-Kaabi held a meeting with the head of the Educational Guidance and Psychological Counselling Unit Assistant Professor Dr. Mayada Sahib Hassan, and representatives of the academic stages to discuss enhancing academic discipline and psychological support for students.
During the meeting, the Dean outlined a number of key points most notably:
1. Regular attendance and full participation in all practical and theoretical lectures.
2. Continuous communication with the head of the guidance unit and representatives of the different stages when facing any academic or psychological difficulties.
3. Making the most of the information and skills provided during lectures and practical activities to ensure the graduation of competent veterinarians capable of facing the challenges of the profession.
4. Develop individual and collective abilities to enhance students’ scientific and professional competence.
The Dean emphasised that commitment to attendance and active participation is a fundamental pillar for building a successful future pointing to the vital role of the Guidance Unit and stage representatives in supporting students. He also expressed his paternal concern for his students stating that the college is keen to provide a supportive educational and psychological environment in which students feel included and appreciated thereby boosting their self-confidence and raising their academic and personal standards.
