The Women’s Affairs Unit at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine organises an awareness campaign on breast cancer

      As part of its awareness activities aimed at promoting health awareness among faculty members and students, the Women’s Affairs Unit at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala organised an educational campaign on breast cancer under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi and organised by the head of the unit Assistant Tuqa Mohammed Abdul-Razza. .

The campaign aimed to raise awareness of the importance of early detection of the disease and highlight methods of prevention and factors that help reduce the incidence of the disease through the distribution of educational brochures within the faculty.

The Dean emphasised that these awareness initiatives represent an important humanitarian aspect of the college’s mission, noting that improving community health is no less important than academic education and scientific research.

This campaign is in line with International Breast Cancer Awareness Month and embodies the college’s mission to spread health awareness and support women in the academic community.
