The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala held elections to select representatives for the second to fifth academic years under the supervision of the Dean of the Faculty Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad Al-Kaabi, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Graduate Studies Professor Dr. Ihab Ghazi Mahdi and with the follow-up of the Head of the Educational Guidance and Psychological Counselling Unit Assistant Professor Dr. Mayada Sahib Hassan in the presence of the stage advisors.
This step came within the framework of the faculty’s efforts to enhance student participation and develop a spirit of leadership and belonging among students, as well as to build an effective bridge of communication between students and the academic administration to develop the university environment.
The Dean emphasised that these initiatives are part of the educational approach adopted by the college to support its students and enable them to play a positive role that contributes to raising academic and behavioural standards.
The selection process concluded in an atmosphere of commitment and responsibility that reflected the students’ awareness and eagerness to represent their colleagues in the best possible light, reflecting the spirit of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the University of Kerbala.
