The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine organises an awareness seminar entitled ‘Education for All… Investing in the Future’


         Under the patronage of the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi the Human Rights Unit organised an awareness seminar entitled “Education for All… An Investment in the Future” as part of its activities aimed at spreading a culture of human rights and promoting justice and equality in educational opportunities.

The seminar highlighted education as a fundamental right and a cornerstone of sustainable development addressing topics such as inclusive and equitable education and empowering vulnerable groups to access learning opportunities.

The Dean emphasised that investing in education is an investment in people and in building the future, noting the College’s keenness to support initiatives that reinforce the principle of education for all and raise awareness of human rights in the academic community.

The symposium, which was attended by Ms. Rasoul Mohsen Hashim and Ms. Tabarak Sabbar Hassan concluded with a number of recommendations calling for enhanced cooperation between educational and community institutions to ensure inclusive and sustainable education.
