The Minister of Education announces that the Ministry and its universities lead the list of state institutions in volunteer work initiatives and honors its distinguished teams at fifty universities.

         The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi honored the volunteer work teams at Iraqi universities. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, university presidents the President of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, and a group of faculty members and students.

This came during the activities of the First Volunteer Work Conference 2025. In his speech, the Minister of Education emphasized that the distinguished contributions of public and private universities in the field of volunteer work represent a living extension of the mission of higher education, embodying its significant achievements locally and globally. They also underscore the Ministry’s active role in promoting the values ​​of social responsibility and building a generation capable of sustainable giving.

Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi explained that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is a leader among state institutions in this field and will remain committed to capacity building overcoming difficulties and challenges, and intensifying efforts in this field by developing programs and incorporating content that instills positive values ​​in the realm of community awareness.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi concluded the conference activities, which included a speech by the head of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Bureau, Dr. Salah Hadi Saleh and a presentation honoring volunteer work teams from fifty universities. He noted that the strategic projects adopted by the Ministry and the pioneering achievements made over the past three years in Iraqi universities have reinforced and renewed the pledge that community service is the primary pillar in fulfilling national responsibility.
