Under the auspices and direct supervision of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asad Al Kaabi, the Continuing Education Unit at the College organized a training course entitled
Use of Mesenchyme Stem Cells in Regeneration of Different Tissues
The aim of the training course was to identify what stem cells are, how to isolate them and how to specialize them in the laboratory and tissue, in addition to knowing the clinical and research applications for the purpose of benefiting from them in the treatment of damaged body tissues, while addressing the challenges and future directions of this technology.
The most important topics covered in the training course
– Recognizing stem cells and their characteristics and how to isolate stem cells.
– The mechanism of action of stem cells and the knowledge of clinical and research applications for the purpose of utilizing them in the treatment of damaged body tissues.
– The most important challenges and future prospects facing this technology.
