On Thursday morning, June 19, 2025, the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala received a technical committee from the University Presidency specializing in the maintenance of university buildings and facilities. The committee conducted a field inspection of the damaged concrete columns in the college building.
The committee was received by Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Abdul-Kadhim Hussein, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs. Hussein provided a detailed explanation of the damage sites and previous work stages, emphasizing the importance of expediting maintenance procedures to preserve the building’s integrity and ensure the smooth continuation of the educational process.
This visit comes within the framework of the University of Karbala’s Presidency’s monitoring of the infrastructure in the colleges and working to address the damage in a professional manner that ensures the sustainability of the educational environment and provides a safe and suitable university environment for students and all staff.
