The fourth stage students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Karbala University continue to shine in the field through their active participation in providing integrated veterinary services in a number of veterinary hospitals and clinics in Karbala, Husseiniya, Sawira and other central and southern governorates.
The students’ tasks varied between clinical examination, diagnosing cases, dispensing treatments, and performing surgical interventions under the direct supervision of veterinarians in the receiving institutions and continuous follow-up from the college supervisors, reflecting the level of professional readiness and advanced applied skills of the students.
For his part, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al Kaabi, Dean of the College, stressed that field training is the cornerstone of preparing a capable veterinarian, pointing out that these activities contribute to consolidating the partnership with veterinary institutions and enhancing the College’s mission in serving the community and livestock.
It is noteworthy that these efforts come under the supervision of the Summer Training Unit in cooperation with the clinical branches as part of the college’s vision to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical experience and create an effective and qualified veterinary generation.
