The College of Veterinary Medicine Council Holds its Eighth Session and Affirms Preparations for Exams and Institutional Accreditation

        The College of Veterinary Medicine Council at the University of Kerbala held its eighth session, chaired by the Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi, to discuss a number of academic and administrative matters and follow up on the directives of the University Presidency.

The Council discussed the directives of the University President, which focused on enhancing academic rigor and monitoring the work of scientific committees and academic journals to facilitate their inclusion in international databases. The Council also emphasized the implementation of the “Green Academy” initiative in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment, adherence to Cabinet decisions, optimal preparation for final exams, and ensuring the availability of necessary resources. Furthermore, the Council stressed the importance of monitoring student attendance rates daily.

The Dean also emphasized the necessity of fulfilling the requirements for institutional accreditation and providing all necessary resources for the relevant committees. He further emphasized the importance of preparing the halls and providing the necessary equipment for the final exams and submitting periodic reports from the academic departments detailing the progress of coursework.

This meeting reflects the College’s commitment to improving the educational process and ensuring the quality of its graduates according to established academic standards.
