The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala and Ferdowsi University Discuss Curriculum Development and Strengthening Joint Academic Cooperation

         The College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala held a joint online meeting with the College of Veterinary Medicine at Ferdowsi University in Mashhad. The meeting was attended by the deans of both colleges and several faculty members, and was held within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed between the two institutions to enhance scientific and academic cooperation.

The meeting discussed mechanisms for implementing the provisions of the memorandum of understanding and expanding areas of scientific partnership to contribute to the development of educational and research programs and the exchange of academic expertise between the two institutions.

The meeting also addressed ways to develop, review, and evaluate curricula to align with modern academic standards and accreditation and quality requirements.

Both sides agreed to continue joint scientific coordination and follow up on preparations for the upcoming international scientific conference. This will enhance the academic and research presence of both colleges and contribute to raising the level of veterinary education and serving the livestock sector at both the local and international levels.

The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Saleh Al-Kaabi, affirmed that this cooperation represents an important step towards academic openness and the exchange of scientific experiences, which will positively impact the development of curricula, scientific research, and the achievement of sustainable development goals in the higher education sector.
