The College of Veterinary Medicine finished the training course about taxidermy

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bassem Al-Saidi, the president of University of Kerbala and Prof. Dr. Wefaq Jubouri Al-Bazi, the dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine.
The College finished the activities of the training course, which was entitled (taxidermy), which lasted for four days, in cooperation with the Veterinary Hospital in the Holy Karbala Governorate, the Syndicate of Veterinarians, the Holy Karbala Branch, the Iraqi Natural History Research Center and Museum at the University of Baghdad, and the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Department of Life Sciences.
During the training course, the process of taxidermy was identified and how to correctly choose and collect the models used in taxidermy , with the identification of materials and tools used in this process or alternatives in the absence of basic materials. The process was fully explained in theory and practice using birds as a model.
The training course was attended by Prof. Dr. Negm Abdel-Hussein Negm, the assistant president of the university for scientific affairs, and a staff from the veterinary hospital and veterinary clinics in the governorate, in addition to a number of professors and staff, and a request from the College of Veterinary Medicine
The course concluded with the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the participants by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Wefaq Jabouri Al-Bazi, and the distribution of certificates of appreciation to the lecturers in the course. At the end of their session, the attendees commended the efforts made by thanking the Deanship of the College and the Continuios Education Division for their stay and support for such scientific activities. That works for advancement and progress.
