Neuroinflammation and Nociception in Intervertebral Disc Degeneration: A Review of Precision Medicine Perspective

The study was prepared in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine at the National University of Malaysia (UKM) and the Medical Research Centre (CURAM) at the University of Kalloway.

The article examined the role of neuroinflammation and pain sensation in cases of degeneration of intervertebral discs while highlighting the applications of precision medicine in the diagnosis and treatment of these conditions.

This study is an important scientific addition, as it was published in The Spine Journal classified in the Scopus database in the first quarter (Q1) with an impact factor of (8.2) as well as within the WOS database. SCIE with an impact factor of (4.9). It has also been indexed in the PubMed database reflecting the outstanding importance of the study globally.
