Within the framework of joint scientific cooperation between Iraqi universities and monitoring the implementation of quality standards and academic accreditation, Professor Dr. Asaad Khalaf Talal a lecturer at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala participated in the work of the ministerial committee to evaluate the scientific and academic reality for the academic year 2024-2025 at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Diyala.
This participation came as part of the tasks of the ministerial committee which includes a group of professors and experts in veterinary specialties, to evaluate educational programs, infrastructure, research laboratories and educational outcomes. This is in line with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s directives to raise the academic level of Iraqi universities.
The Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Asaad Al-Kaabi, emphasized that the participation of the college’s lecturers in such committees represents evidence of the solid scientific and research level reached by the college and confirms its active presence in academic forums across Iraq. He pointed out that the college always seeks to exchange academic and professional expertise, including It contributes to the development of the veterinary education sector and enhances cooperation between university institutions.
This participation embodies the vision of the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Kerbala to expand the scope of academic partnerships and enhance its scientific standing by engaging in specialized committees that serve the development of higher education in Iraq.
