Under the continuous support and insightful vision of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi, who prioritizes scientific research, graduate student Malik Ahmar Rahoun from the Physiology Department conducted a pioneering study using ELISA technology to measure homocysteine levels in the blood of laboratory rats treated with methionine.
This study, supervised by Professor Dr. Haider Ali Mohammed, focused on exploring the effect of methionine on homocysteine concentration, a biomarker that reflects important biological changes in health and physiological functions.
This study exemplifies the significant support provided by the college’s administration to young researchers, reinforcing the College of Veterinary Medicine’s position as a leading scientific center that contributes to the advancement of medical and veterinary knowledge through innovative research.
