The College of Veterinary Medicine Promotes the Spirit of Volunteerism with an Initiative to Support Dar Al-Hanan for the Severely Disabled

          Coinciding with International Human Rights Day, and under the supervision and patronage of the Dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Asaad Al-Kaabi, the Human Rights Unit, in cooperation with the Student Activities Division – Volunteer Work Unit, organized a field visit to Dar Al-Hanan for the Severely Disabled in the holy city of Karbala.

The visit aimed to provide humanitarian support to the residents by distributing meals and essential supplies, in addition to fostering human interaction and providing them with moral support.

The administrators of the home praised the initiative, appreciating the college’s role in instilling a culture of volunteerism and social responsibility among students. The participating students also expressed their happiness with this experience, which reinforces the values ​​of giving and belonging to the community.

At the conclusion of the visit, the college affirmed its commitment to continuing to implement humanitarian initiatives and expanding cooperation with social institutions to serve the local community.
