Assistant Professor Dr. Wafaa Kazem Jassem, one of the teachers at the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Karbala, participated in a committee to discuss a doctoral thesis of the student Laheeb Muhammad Abdul-Hussein at the University of Kufa/ College of Science. Laheeb’s thesis entitled: (Hematological, biochemical and histologicalcal therapeutic efficacy of aloe vera extract against liver damage in rats).
The thesis touched on the vital role of the aloe vera plant in reducing the damage caused to the liver as a result of the usage of some therapeutic drugs. The thesis was approved with a grade of excellence.
